AZCM built a new school and kindergarten in the Pašilaičiai neighborhood in Vilnius.
In the Pašilaičiai neighborhood of Vilnius, AZCM built a new school and kindergarten of more than 3,000 sq. m. The Client was the Archdiocese of Vilnius. In this project, AZCM provided construction management and technical supervision services.
In an irregular T-shaped building of modern architecture, there are 12 classrooms where 240 students will be learning at the same time. The building has a Catholic preschool that can be attended by 80 children in four groups.
We equipped the first story of the building with a gym, changing rooms, school classrooms, locker room, cafeteria, common areas and technical rooms.
The second story houses a kindergarten, chapel, parish offices, library, reading room and the remaining classrooms. The first and second stories of the building are connected by an amphitheater. The cafeteria, chapel and reading room are located around this space. All the rooms are adapted for people with disabilities.
A meadow of perennial plants and two tree alleys were planted in the new school’s territory. Separate playgrounds were provided for the school and the kindergarten (a fitness area, volleyball and basketball courts, hills and sandboxes).
A parking lot was built near the building, including an electric-vehicle charging spot and 24 parking spaces for bicycles.
