AZCM built a new school and kindergarten in the Pašilaičiai neighborhood in Vilnius.
A more than 3,000 sq. m educational facility combining a school and kindergarten was developed in the Pašilaičiai district of Vilnius. The client of the project was the Vilnius Archdiocese. AZCM provided construction management and technical supervision services.
The modern T-shaped building includes 12 classrooms accommodating up to 240 students. The project also features a Catholic kindergarten for 80 children divided into four groups.
The ground floor includes a sports hall, changing rooms, classrooms, a cloakroom, dining facilities, common areas, and technical premises. The second floor houses the kindergarten, chapel, parish administration offices, library, reading room, and additional classrooms. Both floors are connected by an amphitheatre surrounded by the main communal spaces. All premises were designed to ensure accessibility for people with disabilities.
A meadow of perennial plants and two tree alleys were planted in the new school’s territory. Separate playgrounds were provided for the school and the kindergarten (a fitness area, volleyball and basketball courts, hills and sandboxes).
A parking lot was built near the building, including an electric-vehicle charging spot and 24 parking spaces for bicycles.
