AZCM consulted the German logistics company Hegelmann Transporte on the development of a new 38,000 sq. m logistics centre in Lithuania. The project is being implemented on a 6-hectare site in Domeikava, near the Kaunas–Klaipėda highway.
The logistics centre is being developed in several stages. The first stage has already been completed and includes two warehouses with a combined area of nearly 11,000 sq. m, a 4,000 sq. m office building designed for 500 employees, and a parking lot with 350 spaces. The warehouse ceilings reach 17 metres in height, and the project complies with A-class energy efficiency requirements.
Once fully completed, the Hegelmann Transporte logistics centre will consist of 21,000 sq. m of warehousing facilities and 17,000 sq. m of office space. AZCM provided construction management consulting services to the client.
